The Q11 Ultra is Keychron's split ergonomic flagship — a fully custom, hot-swappable mechanical keyboard built for people who type all day and don't want to compromise on speed, comfort, or feel. A CNC-machined aluminum body, 8000 Hz polling in wireless and wired modes, and factory pre-lubed Silk POM switches make this one of the most refined split boards on the market.

Tether-Free Split Design

Unlike most split keyboards, the Q11 Ultra doesn't need a bridge cable connecting the two halves. In 2.4 GHz wireless mode, a dual-chip solution keeps both sides perfectly synced, so you get true tether-free freedom to position each half exactly where your wrists want it. The 75% layout keeps a full function row and navigation cluster, while a 5-key macro column on the left half puts your most-used shortcuts a single press away. Two independent rotary knobs — one per half — handle volume, zoom, scrolling, or whatever you assign them.

Full Aluminum Build

Each half is precision CNC-machined from aluminum, finished in anodized black with blue accent keycaps. Inside, a double-gasket mount and internal sound-dampening foam give the board a dense, cushioned, and acoustically clean typing feel — no hollow ping, just a satisfying thock.

Silk POM Switches, Factory Lubed

The Q11 Ultra ships with Keychron's Silk POM switches — full POM construction on both housing and stem, which is naturally self-lubricating and wears in smoothly over time. Every switch is factory pre-lubed for consistent, buttery keystrokes out of the box. Choose from:

• Silk POM Red — smooth linear

• Silk POM Brown — light tactile bump

• Silk POM Banana — sharp, pronounced tactile feedback

The PCB is fully hot-swappable, supporting both 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches, so you can experiment with different switches later on without any soldering.

8000 Hz Polling Rate

The Q11 Ultra reports to your computer up to 8000 times per second — a 0.125ms response time — over both 2.4 GHz wireless and USB-C wired connections. That's up to 64x faster than a standard 125 Hz keyboard, cutting input latency to a level normally reserved for competitive gaming peripherals, now on a board built for everyday typing and work.

Triple Connectivity

Switch between three connection modes depending on what you're doing:

A dual-battery system with a combined 4000 mAh capacity keeps the Q11 Ultra running for up to 300 hours on a single charge in wireless mode with RGB switched off. When it's time to top up, USB-C fast charging gets you back to full quickly.

Full Customization via Keychron Launcher

The Q11 Ultra is powered by an ARM-based controller with QMK/VIA support through Keychron's web-based Launcher software. Remap any key, build multi-layer macros, and fine-tune the south-facing per-key RGB backlighting — with 22+ lighting presets plus per-key and split-zone (Mix RGB) custom lighting. Works natively on macOS, Windows, and Linux via a physical OS toggle.
