Refund & Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of Group Buys and Pre-Orders, refunds are generally not available. However, in certain extenuating circumstances, refunds may be considered at our discretion for both active and closed Group Buys.
If a refund is approved, a 7.5% restocking fee will apply. This fee is equivalent to the transaction costs we incur from our payment providers — we only charge exactly what we are penalised. For questions, reach us at info@ozokeyboards.com.
What is a Group Buy?
A Group Buy (GB) is a community-organised, limited-time production run. Rather than keeping products in stock, we open a window for customers to place orders — once the buy closes, the manufacturer begins production based on the confirmed order count.
This model allows us to offer exclusive colourways, layouts, and products that wouldn't otherwise be viable at small quantities, and often at better prices than retail.
How is a Group Buy different from a Pre-Order?
Group Buy: Production only begins after the buy window closes and a minimum order quantity is met. Estimated timelines are based on confirmed production slots, which can shift.
Pre-Order: The product is already confirmed for production (or being manufactured). You're reserving your unit ahead of it arriving — timelines are generally more predictable.
Both require patience — we always communicate updates as we receive them.
How long do Group Buys take?
Timelines vary significantly depending on the product and manufacturer. Generally:
- In-stock group buys: 2–12 weeks
- Products yet to be produced: 3–9 months
- Highly customised or large-scale GBs: up to 6+ months
We post updates to this page as milestones are reached — production confirmation, shipping, customs, and dispatch.
Can I cancel or get a refund on a Group Buy order?
Refunds are generally not available on Group Buy or Pre-Order purchases due to the committed production nature of these runs. Once an order is placed, production costs and allocations are locked in on your behalf.
In certain extenuating circumstances, a refund may be considered at our discretion. If approved, (approximately) 5% restocking fee will be deducted to cover the transaction fees charged by our payment providers — we only pass on exactly what we are penalised.
To request consideration, email info@ozokeyboards.com with your order number and reason.
Why is there a restocking fee?
Payment processors charge a transaction fee when a payment is taken. In many cases, these fees are not returned when a refund is issued — meaning we absorb a cost for every refund processed, regardless of the reason.
The 7.5% fee is a direct pass-through of that cost. We do not profit from it. We believe in being transparent about why fees exist.
What happens if a Group Buy is cancelled by OZO?
In the rare event that a Group Buy is cancelled by us (e.g. due to the minimum order quantity not being met, or a manufacturer issue), full refunds will be issued to all participants with no restocking fee applied.
We'll communicate any cancellation clearly and promptly via email and on this page.
Will I be kept updated on my order?
Yes. We post shipment milestones and timeline updates to this page. You'll also receive an email when your order is dispatched with tracking information.

Is shipping included in the Group Buy price?
Shipping is calculated at checkout. UK orders over £100 qualify for free shipping. International orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) — meaning no additional tariffs or import taxes will be charged to you on delivery.
My item arrived faulty — what do I do?
If your item arrives with a manufacturing defect, you are covered under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015. Please contact us at info@ozokeyboards.com with your order number and photos of the issue.
Faulty goods are handled separately from our standard Group Buy refund policy — we will always work to make it right.
