Most modern switches chase one thing: glass-smooth. The Matcha Cream, designed by Zuoce and made by Wingtree, goes the other way. It is built to feel like the old "sand-feel" switches enthusiasts used to hunt down in vintage boards: a faint, dry texture under the finger as the stem travels, and a bright, crisp clack when it lands. Not scratchy in the cheap sense; textured in the way a good pencil on good paper is.
The trick is restraint. The factory lube goes only where it stops unwanted noise: the stem feet and their metal contact, the spring and its seat, and the rib contact points between stem and top housing. Everything else is left dry, so the character stays while the rattle goes.
