The SCC100 is a barebone kit, which is the perfect starting point for a custom build. It includes the case, PCB, plate, foams, and stabilizers. You'll need to add your own switches (any MX-style switch will work) and keycaps to complete it.

Is it difficult to program with VIA?

Not at all. Once you connect the keyboard in wired mode, you just need to load the provided JSON file into the VIA web or desktop app. From there, the interface is graphical and easy to understand, allowing you to make changes in real time.
