Womier WD75 Wireless Wooden Keyboard

Combining the warmth of natural materials with the precision of modern wireless tech, the Womier WD75 brings a new character to the desktop. It’s a keyboard that stands apart from the usual sea of anodized aluminum and moulded plastic, offering an experience that engages more than just your fingertips.

There’s nothing like the feel of a keyboard that’s truly yours. Every desk deserves one, but most are built from the same cold, uniform materials. That’s where the Womier WD75 comes in. It grounds your workspace with a touch of nature while delivering the enthusiast-level performance you expect.

A Foundation of Solid Walnut

From its solid wood construction to its streamlined 75% layout, the WD75 pulls no punches. The case is crafted from a single, substantial piece of real walnut, giving it enough weight to stay firmly planted on your desk. The V2 model refines this design with smoother, rounded edges and a darker finish that brings out the deep, natural grain of the wood. It’s a tactile experience that no metal or plastic case can replicate.

A Foundation of Solid Walnut

Inside, the typing feel is engineered for a soft, rich sound. Complementing the wooden case is a comprehensive foam array—including five distinct layers of sound-absorbing fillings. This multi-layer system works with the polycarbonate plate to eliminate any lingering hollowness, creating a cushioned and satisfying sound with every keystroke.

Engineered for Sound

Performance-Tuned Internals

For the switches, Womier chose their own POM Mint Blizzard linears. Made entirely from POM plastic and pre-lubed at the factory, they deliver a consistently smooth, frictionless feel that’s great for long typing sessions or quiet productivity. To support them, Womier also equipped the WD75 with well-tuned, plate-mounted stabilizers to ensure a solid, rattle-free experience on the larger keys.

Customize Your Feel

And if you ever want to change the feel, you can simply pop in new switches. The hot-swappable circuit board means you can try new linears, tactiles, or clickies in minutes, thanks to 5-pin sockets that accept nearly any MX-style switch. No soldering required.

The Freedom of Wireless, The Power of VIA

We covered the feel. Now, for the freedom. Working in harmony with each of the WD75’s connectivity modes—wired USB-C, low-latency 2.4GHz wireless, and Bluetooth—QMK and VIA support gives you the power to personalize with precision. Remap keys, create complex macros, control the south-facing RGB, and build custom layers for different applications. Do it all through a simple web-based interface that saves your layout directly to the keyboard.

Questions & Specifications

Questions & Answers

What is QMK and VIA?

QMK is a powerful open-source firmware that allows for deep customization of a keyboard's functions. VIA is a user-friendly application that runs in your web browser, allowing you to easily change keymaps, program macros, and control lighting in real-time without needing to flash new firmware.

What is the difference between 2.4GHz and Bluetooth wireless?

2.4GHz wireless uses a dedicated USB dongle to create a direct, low-latency connection, which is ideal for gaming or fast-paced work. Bluetooth connects directly to your device's built-in Bluetooth receiver, making it easy to switch between multiple devices like a laptop, tablet, or phone without moving a dongle.

Why are south-facing LEDs important?

South-facing LEDs position the light source at the bottom of the switch. This prevents interference with Cherry-profile keycaps, which can sometimes hit the switch housing on north-facing designs. It ensures maximum compatibility with a wide range of custom keycap sets.

What kind of switches can I install?

The WD75 features a 5-pin hot-swap PCB, which is compatible with almost all MX-style mechanical switches, including those from brands like Cherry, Gateron, Kailh, and more. This includes both 3-pin (plate-mount) and 5-pin (PCB-mount) switches.
