Keychron K10 QMK V2 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

Keychron K10 QMK V2 Wireless Mechanical Keyboard

The Full-Size Layout, Reimagined

A familiar layout shouldn't mean a fixed experience. The standard full-size keyboard gets the job done, but the right one can change your entire workflow. Meet the Keychron K10 QMK V2: a new take on the classic 104-key design, built for people who want both full-scale productivity and deep, open-source customisation.

At the heart of the K10 is its QMK firmware. This gives the keyboard unprecedented performance and control. Plug in with USB-C for a 1000Hz polling rate, or connect wirelessly over Bluetooth 5.2 with up to three devices. Whichever way you work, the K10 delivers seamless QMK functionality—a rarity for wireless keyboards. It also delivers an exceptional typing feel, thanks to its internal acoustic dampening, pre-lubed switches, and sturdy steel plate construction. It's the full-size layout you know, with the performance you've been waiting for.

QMK Features

Customisation Without Compromise

We've covered the connectivity. Now, for the customisation. Working in harmony with each of the K10's connection modes, QMK firmware gives you the power to personalise with precision. Remap keys, create complex macros, assign shortcuts, and control the backlighting with endless possibilities.

There's no need for complicated command-line tools. Keychron's Launcher web app provides a simple interface to program every key, supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux right from your browser. You expect your desk to adapt to you—why should your keyboard be any different?

Under the Hood: A Focus on Feel

The Keychron K10 V2 showcases several high-quality components to deliver a typing experience that earns its second-generation status. The factory pre-lubed Keychron Super Mechanical switches provide a smooth keystroke right out of the box, available in linear Red, tactile Brown, or the distinct Banana option. For those who like to experiment, the hot-swappable version lets you change every switch without touching a soldering iron, compatible with most 3-pin and 5-pin MX-style switches on the market.

And speaking of sound and feel, the K10 V2 refines both with an influx of acoustic foam. Following community input, Keychron placed special types of foam in select areas of the chassis to refine its sound and soften the feel. This includes PET foam, advanced IXPE acoustic foam, and resilient EPDM foam to reduce harsh noises and eliminate any lingering hollowness. It's a thoughtful approach to acoustics, anchored by a steel plate for stability and responsive feedback.

Hot-Swappable Design

Built for the Long Haul

From its solid construction to its ergonomic design, the K10 is built for comfort during long sessions. The chassis provides three levels of adjustable typing angle (3.5º, 7.7º, and 11º), ensuring you can find the perfect wrist position.

The keycaps are made from durable, double-shot PBT plastic. This material resists the shine and oil that builds up over time, keeping your keyboard looking and feeling fresh. Shaped in the popular curved Cherry profile, these shine-through keycaps are comfortable for any task and let the vibrant RGB backlighting shine through clearly.

Q&A

What comes in the box?

Every Keychron K10 QMK V2 keyboard includes the keyboard itself, a USB-A to USB-C cable, extra keycaps for both Windows and macOS layouts, a keycap puller, and a switch puller (for hot-swappable versions).

Can I use this for gaming?

Yes. In wired mode, the K10 features a 1000 Hz polling rate, making it perfectly responsive for gaming.

What is the difference between the plastic and aluminum frame versions?

The core functionality is the same. The aluminum frame version adds aluminum rails to the top of the plastic frame, which increases the weight and rigidity for a more premium, stable feel on the desk.

Do I need to install software to customise the keyboard?

No. The Keychron Launcher is a web-based app, so you can configure your keyboard through a compatible browser (like Chrome, Opera, or Edge) without installing any local software.
