Meet the DS Adaptive PCB-Mount Stabilizers: the first screw-in stabilizers designed to eliminate rattle and pinging at the source, with no manual wire tuning required. They move like a ghost because the noise was never invited in the first place.

A Stabilizer That Tunes Itself

The secret is a patented adaptive insert structure, co-developed with JWICK. Inside each stabilizer stem, a high-polymer elastic leaf spring is integrated directly with the wire housing. This tiny component applies a constant, gentle force against the stabilizer wire, restricting its movement and keeping it perfectly snug.

To bring their adaptive technology from its plate-mount origins to a screw-in format, Designer Studio re-engineered the entire mold. The wire's travel path is longer, and the internal leaf spring has a wider tolerance to suit the dynamics of a PCB-mounted build.

Most importantly, they removed the traditional bottom-out bump. Instead, they introduced interchangeable modular pads to give you precise control over your sound and feel. The kit includes two distinct options:

- **Teflon Bottom-Out Pads:** Provide a firm, solid landing with a more pronounced, clean sound profile for those who prefer a classic typing feel.

- **Silicone Bottom-Out Pads:** Provide a softer, gentler bottom-out with a dampened, quieter sound, ideal for builds focused on subtlety.

Do I still need to lube these stabilizers?

The core adaptive mechanism is designed to work perfectly without any lubricant on the wire. However, applying a light coat of lubricant to the stabilizer housings where the stem travels is still recommended for maximum smoothness, just as you would with any premium stabilizer.

What is the difference between the Teflon and Silicone pads?

Teflon provides a hard, crisp bottom-out sound and feel, similar to a standard stabilizer. Silicone provides a soft, cushioned, and much quieter bottom-out. You can mix and match them to find your perfect preference.

Will these work with my standard 1.6mm thick PCB?

Yes. The stabilizers are designed natively for 1.2mm PCBs, but the included FR4/PC shims make them fully compatible with the more common 1.6mm PCB thickness.
