Atop this substantial base, it houses a thoughtfully designed gasket sock mounting system. This structure suspends the plate and PCB on flexible gaskets, absorbing the impact of every keystroke. Paired with a 1.2mm flex-cut PCB and a matching FR4 plate, the result is a soft, cushioned typing feel that reduces harshness during long sessions.

The 5-pin sockets accept nearly any MX-style switch you can find, no soldering required. The PCB also features south-facing LEDs, which prevents interference with Cherry-profile keycaps, giving you total freedom to choose the set that completes your story.

What else do I need to complete the keyboard?

You will need to purchase your own mechanical switches (MX-style, 5-pin) and a set of keycaps to complete the build.

Is this keyboard difficult to assemble?

Assembly is straightforward for anyone with some familiarity with mechanical keyboards. It involves seating the gaskets, installing stabilizers, placing the foam, screwing the plate/PCB assembly into the case, and then inserting your switches and keycaps.

Does it support QMK or VIA for key remapping?

What are south-facing LEDs?

South-facing LEDs are positioned at the bottom of the switch socket. This orientation prevents the keycap from hitting the switch housing on certain rows, which is a common issue with north-facing LEDs and Cherry-profile keycaps. It ensures maximum compatibility with aftermarket keycap sets.
