Unlike mechanical switches that have a fixed actuation point, this board uses Hall Effect sensors to register the exact position of every key, down to the micron. This opens up a level of control that simply isn't possible with traditional hardware.

At the core of this technology is Rapid Trigger (RT), a feature that instantly activates a key the moment you press it and deactivates it the moment you let go, regardless of travel distance. This eliminates input delay, making movements in FPS games more fluid and responsive. Complementing the RT function is a fully adjustable actuation range. You can set the sensitivity of any key from a hair-trigger 0.1mm to a deliberate 3.40mm, with fine-tuning available in 0.005mm steps. It’s control measured in micrometres.

And finally, a full gasket-mounted structure with internal dampening pads manages keystroke impact and sound, ensuring a solid, consistent feel during intense sessions.

This allows it to measure the exact travel distance of a key, rather than just registering a simple on/off signal like a traditional mechanical keyboard. This enables features like Rapid Trigger and adjustable actuation.
Can I use my regular MX mechanical switches in this keyboard?
No. The 5075 V3 HE is specifically designed for Hall Effect magnetic switches and is not compatible with traditional 3-pin or 5-pin MX mechanical switches. It does, however, support several third-party magnetic switches if you wish to experiment.
What is Rapid Trigger useful for?
Rapid Trigger is especially effective in first-person shooters and rhythm games. It allows for faster strafing, "jiggle-peeking," and repeated key presses because the key activates and deactivates the instant its direction of travel changes, without needing to pass a fixed reset point.
