Mi Precision Screwdriver Kit: 24 Bits in an Aluminium Case

Mi Precision Screwdriver Kit case and driver on a desk beside a keyboard

The one tool every keyboard needs

Case screws, plate screws, daughterboard screws, the tiny Torx on a stabiliser housing. Building, modding or just cleaning a mechanical keyboard means opening it up, and that means a driver that fits properly and lives somewhere you can find it. The Mi Precision Screwdriver Kit is that driver, with 24 bits in a slim aluminium case that sits on the desk next to the board it was bought for.

24 bits, S2 steel, 60 HRC

Ten bit types across 24 sizes, in S2 alloy steel hardened to 60 HRC with a sand-blasted zinc-phosphate coating. Hard enough not to round off in a tight screw, coated so it bites rather than slips.

Press, and it opens

A single press releases the magnetic bit tray from the one-piece aluminium shell. Bits sit in labelled slots and the magnet holds them there, so the case can live in a bag or a drawer without a loose bit rattling around the bottom.

Smaller than a phone, lighter than a mouse

168 x 67 x 17 mm and 280 g, anodised and sand-blasted so it does not show fingerprints or sweat. It belongs on a desk, not in a toolbox.

A handle you can use one-handed

The driver is a three-sided anodised aluminium handle with a free-spinning cap on the end. Rest your fingertip on the cap, turn the body with your other fingers, and the handle spins while the cap stays put, which is how you drive a small screw quickly without lifting your hand. The facets give grip without knurling and keep the driver from rolling off the desk.

The kit was previously sold as the Mi Wiha Screwdriver Set. This version swaps three bits for Y0.6, T9H and W1.5 to suit current electronics, and everything else is unchanged.
