What are Hall Effect (HE) switches?

Instead of using metal pins for contact, Hall Effect switches use magnets and sensors to detect how far a key is pressed. This allows for adjustable actuation points, eliminates the delay needed for metal contacts to settle (debounce), and makes them far more durable than traditional mechanical switches.

Why does a 16K polling rate matter?

Polling rate is how often your keyboard reports its status to your computer. A standard gaming keyboard might poll at 1,000Hz (1000 times per second). At 16,000Hz, the Ace 68 Turbo reports 16 times more frequently, reducing the time between your physical action and the digital input to an absolute minimum. For competitive gaming, this can be a noticeable advantage.

What is Rapid Trigger (RT)?

Rapid Trigger allows a key to reset the instant it starts traveling upwards, rather than needing to pass a fixed reset point. This means you can re-press the same key much faster, which is a significant advantage in rhythm games and tactical shooters that require quick, repetitive movements.

Is the keyboard difficult to customize?
